Teresa is a passionate Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from La Salle University and a Master of Arts in Food Studies from Chatham University. With extensive professional experience as an educator and supervisor at Adagio Health, Inc., Teresa has been providing vital community nutrition education programs to low-income audiences in the Pittsburgh region since January 2013. She also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor with the University of Pittsburgh's Dietitian-Nutritionist Program since August 2023, sharing her expertise with the next generation of nutrition professionals.

As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor with Intuitive Eating Pros® (December 2023), Teresa is dedicated to helping clients rebuild positive relationships with food and their bodies through a weight-neutral approach. Her practice encompasses a diverse clientele, including tweens, teens, adults, and families.

Teresa aligns her work with the principles of Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating®, emphasizing holistic well-being, body diversity, and health without stigmatizing weight. She encourages clients to engage with their bodies in ways that feel good for them, promoting self-acceptance and mindful eating practices centered around satisfaction and enjoyment. When working with families, she incorporates The Satter Division of Responsibility in Feeding (sDOR), fostering joyful and positive eating experiences for children.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Teresa's love for music runs deep. Growing up singing and playing piano in church and later participating in musical theater during high school, she finds joy in attending concerts and listening to live music. Whenever she feels anxious, playing the piano helps calm her mind and body, reflecting her belief in the power of holistic wellness.
