McKenna Gonzalez LPC has her School Counseling degree from the California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. McKenna provides in person and telehealth services in our Monroeville location. McKenna has a strong background working with clients ranging from middle adolescence to late adulthood and uses a variety of practices tailored to each individual with a consciously direct approach.

McKenna’s background and education span many facets of mental health including county and emergency room crisis, school mental health, and community mental health. She has found that her style and practices are a good fit for teens, young adults, and adults who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, life transition, stress, relationships/communication struggles, social pressures, and trauma.

McKenna shares: Therapy can be overwhelming, and I aim to ease some of those thoughts and feelings during our first meeting. I make a strong effort to get to know you and the surrounding circumstances that have led you to begin therapy. My hope is to build initial trust and give you the opportunity to feel comfortable and allow me to help you work towards your goals. It's a joy to show that progress towards therapeutic goals is possible and achievable.
