Gabriela (Gabi) Hutter, Therapist Intern (She/Her)

Gabi Hutter is a therapist intern holding a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, and currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Carlow University, alongside a certificate in school-based mental health. Her background as a mobile and phone crisis clinician shaped a trauma-informed, solution-focused approach to high-stress moments grounded in flexibility and a focus on client strengths. Her experiences as a caretaker and additional training in play therapy also inform her warm, creative work with younger clients. She welcomes people of all ages, spiritualities, genders, and sexual/romantic orientations and draws from person-centered, strength-based, EFT, and Narrative therapy frameworks, alongside creative interventions like art, yoga, and nature-based practices.

Gabi finds genuine joy in witnessing clients grow into themselves, develop safe and mutually empowering relationships, and find personal fulfillment through authentic expression. Outside of sessions, Gabi loves making art, camping, gardening, and being outdoors. Her dog, Sunshine, may also make an appearance in sessions as an extra support.

“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
