Emilie Stock, MS, LAPC
Emilie is a dedicated therapist with a strong educational foundation, holding dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Elementary Education, along with a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Carlow University. With years of experience in the field, she has provided one-on-one behavioral interventions through Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and has worked in clinical mental health counseling. As a co-leader for trauma group counseling and extensive work with families, Emilie has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by parents and by individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Emilie is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her clients, joining them on their journeys toward hope, happiness, and self-discovery. She works with individuals aged 18 and up, creating a safe and supportive environment for exploration and growth.
Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from various methodologies to best meet the unique needs of each client. While she feels particularly aligned with psychodynamic therapy, Emilie also incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy, ensuring a personalized experience for those she works with.
Through her compassionate and collaborative approach, Emilie empowers clients to navigate their challenges and embrace their paths to healing and transformation.
